History
In 1992, two ambitious entrepreneurs founded MABIS Healthcare. The company started out producing aneroid sphygmomanometers, blood pressure monitors, thermometers, stethoscopes and nebulizers. Although the company began small, it was driven to provide superior customer service and consumer care.
For over 35-years, Duro-Med Industries has been a reliable manufacturer and supplier of one of the most comprehensive lines of durable medical products in the industry. In 2007, MABIS Healthcare and Duro-Med Industries joined under one parent company (DMS Holdings, Inc.) to become MABIS DMI Healthcare.
In 2004, Briggs Medical Service Company, a leader in medical documentation, patient charting, educational and reference products, acquired MABIS DMI Healthcare. Together, Briggs and MABIS DMI Healthcare have over 60 years of experience and serve more than 50,000 customers across the entire healthcare continuum.
