MABIS DMI Healthcare Partners with STRONGARM® Mobility

Waukegan, IL, July 1, 2009 – MABIS DMI Healthcare, a leading healthcare provider, is pleased to announce their partnership with StrongArm Mobility. This partnership grants MABIS DMI Healthcare the rights as master distributor of StrongArm canes  – a new type of walking aid that combines cane simplicity with crutch support in a streamlined, multifunction device.

Formed from aircraft grade aluminum tubing, the StongArm handle wraps around the forearm to stabilize the wrist and provide outstanding rearward and lateral stability. The bracing action of the cushioned cradle makes the device feel like a solid extension of the user’s arm, without the cumbersome cuffs found on a traditional forearm crutch.

The StrongArm cane provides optimum stability with a flared, hexagonal floor tip centered beneath the handgrip. The height-adjustable nut is oversized with easy-to-grasp lobes and the hook-like cradle allows the StrongArm to be propped against a wall, hang from chairs, tables or railings. The StrongArm works with both hands and has cushions to provide extra comfort.

MABIS DMI Healthcare will carry the Slim StrongArm Cane and the Standard StrongArm Cane. The Slim StrongArm is designed for small to midsized adults weighing up to 250 pounds, and reaching the height of 6 feet, once inch. The Standard Strong Arm Cane is sized for mid to large sized adults weighing up to 300 pounds, and reaching the height of 6 feet, four inches. The canes are also available individually or in cases, and are sold in a variety of colors:
